How the Click-to-Call System Works
The Click-to-Call system allows users to initiate a voice conversation through a web-based interface without manually dialing a number. The process begins on the Client Web Server, where the user accesses the portal and provides their mobile number. The request is then handled by the App Server, which manages the application logic and communicates with the Client IP and Voice Processor. The Voice Processor is responsible for handling the call-processing functions and coordinating the required communication session.
Once the request is processed, Invite 1 and Invite 2 represent the invitation requests used to initiate and establish the call between the user and the Agent/Client. The Client IP and Voice Processor work together to connect the user’s mobile side with the agent or client. After the communication session is successfully established, the user and agent can communicate through the voice call, providing a convenient way for businesses to connect web visitors with their support or sales teams.
