How the WhatsApp Business Architecture Works
A WhatsApp Business communication architecture connects customers with a brand’s messaging infrastructure and backend business systems. The End User communicates with the company’s WhatsApp Business Account, allowing two-way conversations for customer support, sales, notifications, order updates, and automated services. When a customer sends a message, the business’s backend processes the request and determines what information or action is required.
The backend can include a business application, search or processing layer, database, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. These components can identify the customer, retrieve relevant information such as orders or support records, and update or access CRM data before generating a response. The response is then sent back through the brand’s WhatsApp Business Account. This integration connects WhatsApp communication with business data and CRM workflows, enabling businesses to provide more contextual and personalized customer interactions.
